In 2003 a group of enthusiastic and dedicated women came together with one shared purpose, to change the world one community at a time, by addressing needs at home and around the globe.  Women of all different ages and walks of life, with different strengths and passions formed the Woolwich Community Lions Club.

We are not afraid to roll up our sleeves and work hard;  we have also discovered that in serving, we gain so much more: community, friendships, strength and purpose.  There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing the results of our volunteer work and fundraising projects  make a difference in the lives of those around us. 

However we are not just local.  The Woolwich Community Lions Club is chartered through Lions Clubs

International,  partnering us with Lions around the world.

Lions Clubs International is made up of 46,000 clubs and 1.4+ million members, making us the world's largest service club organization. We're also one of the most effective. Our members do whatever is needed to help their local communities. Everywhere we work, we make friends.
