In 1925, Helen Keller challenged Lions to become Knights of the Blind, to help put an end to preventable blindness worldwide.

Eyeglass Recycling

 

The Woolwich Community Lions Club also collects used eyeglasses, which are shipped to third world countries to be distributed among those in need of vision correction.  Over the years, we have shipped thousands of pairs of eyeglasses.
